Inventory panel

Inventory (default I) is a panel which displays all items and equipment carried by the character, as well as their supply of coins. Each character starts with 42 slots of storage space in their inventory bag. Up to 2 additional bags can be equipped to expand this capacity. The slots above the the inventory bag are for equippable items the character can wear, like weapons and armor.

Mechanics

The inventory is primarily made up of slots to store and equip items.

  • The main inventory bag is a 7x6 bag. Each 1x1 slot can hold an item (or stack of items).
    • Small items, like scrolls, potions, and crafting materials occupy a 1x1 slot. Larger items, like weapons and armor, can occupy up to 2x4 (8) slots.
    • Items already in the inventory cannot be manually stacked. However, items like potions and scrolls can be purchased pre-stacked. For example, a stack of 5 scrolls can be purchased from a Grocer or Mobile Shop and still only occupies a 1x1 slot.
  • Click an item to pick it up, then Click on the corresponding slot to equip it.
    • Click Change (or press E) to swap between weapon sets. A character can equip 2 weapon sets to swap between.
  • Right+Click on the equipped bag to open and close the bag window.
  • Quest items are stored in their own quest bag. Opening that bag window will show any quest items in the inventory.
  • Dragging an item to the trash can icon will delete that item from the inventory (this cannot be undone, the item is lost once deleted).
  • Your available coins are tracked on the bottom of the panel. Coins are listed in platinum pieces (PP), gold pieces (GP), and copper pieces (CP). Clicking on a coin denomination will allow you to set an amount to trade.
  • The shop button opens the Player shop and allows you to try selling items to other players at the amount you set. Player shops persist even when the character is offline; just open your shop, list the items for sale, and log out.

Quest item bag

Primary article:Quest items

Numerous quests involve obtaining quest-specific items to complete the objective. These items can be obtained from NPCs or looted from monsters. Quest items are automatically stored in the quest item bag in the character's inventory.

Expansion

Primary article: Bag

A character can equip up to 2 additional bags to expand their inventory capacity. These are equipped in the bag slot in the inventory panel.

Each bag has a corresponding size, listed as 4x4 or similar. This corresponds to the slot grid that the bag adds. In the case of a Small Bag (4x4), equipping one adds 16 slots to store items. Some bags can be purchased from Grocers, acquired as rewards from quests, or looted from monsters.

Types of bags

Equipment slots

Primary article: Equipment

Equipment or gear refers to any item that can be wielded or worn by a character. Equippable items are placed in the equipment slots in the inventory panel. Two-handed weapons occupy both the weapon and off-hand slots when equipped. Wands can only be equipped in the weapon slot. Shields can only be equipped in the off-hand slot. Robes occupy both the chest and pants slots.
