Status window of a level 15 knight wearing upgraded gear.

Attributes are characteristics that improve character effectiveness in combat. There are 15 visible attributes, including 9 hidden attributes.

Attributes are primarily increased by equipment and item bonuses worn by the character. Many blessings give bonuses to attributes as well. There are also potions that can be consumed for temporary increases to attributes.

Attributes displayed as white text in the status window are unmodified, while orange indicates that attribute is being increased (either by equipment or blessings).

Primary attributes

Primary attributes can be increased as the character raises in level. Each level a character progresses earns 2 attribute points to spend.

  • Vitality (VIT) — increases health, stamina, and their regeneration speed
  • Dexterity (DEX) — increases accuracy, critical chance, and evasion
  • Intelligence (INT) — increases mana, MP regeneration, and magical attack and defense
  • Strength (STR) — increases physical attack and defense, and blocking rate

Secondary attributes

Secondary attributes cannot be increased by manual point allocation, but are instead calculated using the primary attributes and increased with equipment and blessings.

Pools

There are three resource pools a character utilizes.

  • Health (HP) — A character's maximum health pool. This determines how much damage the character can take before they die. HP is calculated from total VIT and item bonuses to Maximum Health.
  • Mana (MP) — A character's maximum mana pool. Most skills use an amount of mana to cast. MP is calculated from total INT and item bonuses to Maximum Mana.
  • Stamina (SP) — A character's maximum stamina pool. Most skills use an amount of stamina to cast, and sprinting also consumes stamina. SP is calculated from total VIT and item bonuses to Maximum Stamina.

Attack and defense

Weapons and armor contribute to the attack and defense attributes on a character, increasing damage dealt and reducing damage taken.

Resistances

Resistances increase the chance of a character nullifying (resisting) certain attack types.

Hidden attributes

There are several attributes that are not displayed on any panel, but are calculated and increased using equipment and item bonuses.

Trivia

  • There are potions and scrolls that can be purchased or acquired through quests that temporarily increase attributes.
