Map

From FHX Wiki

The map (Click World Map in the top right of the minimap) is the enlarged user interface element used to orient players during exploration. The map shows the character position and general information of nearby locations. Characters can continue to move while the map is open. You can also add custom markers to the world map by adding a label and clicking the need info button.

The minimap is the more detailed view of the map, containing markers for objects like bindstones and portals as well as your nearby party members. The minimap can be zoomed in/out by clicking the +/- button.

Map icons

Some markers may differ between the in-game Idios world map and Glorious Imperial Territory. For consistency, the interactive maps throughout the wiki follow the below table to avoid confusion. Additionally, the user mark () is used in the wiki to add area labels for easier navigation.

Icon Name Notes
Avatar Used to mark character position
Town Used for towns, cities, and bindstones
Etc Used for merchants and mobile shops
Portal Used for linked portals
Fortress Used for entrances to instanced areas
Quest Used for available quests
Reward Used for completed quests
User Used for user-placed markers on the world map

Trivia

  • Previous iterations of the game only contained the Glorious Imperial Territory map or South Rog Frontier map. FHX Restoration merged the two maps into a single continent.
  • There is some overlap between both world maps, some locations containing identical or similar names. In the wiki, these are identified by "(V1)" or "(V3)" in the location title.
