The game is using a self-developed Blade Engine. Having major features of covering most of the map at once and with that avoiding loading or borders. This also allowed a wide field of view, with detailed weather and climate changes at the same time.
Herrcot's graphics allowed characteristics and atmosphere of the game, having movement of the sun and moon for example. Shadows appearing differently depending on distance and angle, and changing colors in the landscape.
