Classes are where the preferences and skills of each player differ greatly!
However, your group mostly depends on each of them (and thus on other players) to master most of the adventures in the game! Whether you are a cleric, a paladin, or an archer, you provide your team with unique and essential skills and combat abilities that they will desperately need.
Each class offers unique and powerful skills that he or she can master to perfection, which can greatly affect the outcome of a battle in PvE and PvP! However, the strength of these skills also depends on the level of the class and the level of the skill, which can simply increase by using it. But don’t think that only mastering the skills of a class will make you a good fighter! In an exciting and important fight, what matters most is your combat experience through communication, team play, and movements.
Classes are also strongly influenced by the race they are descended from. This is the main reason why you will often find classes belonging to certain groups of races. The classes depend heavily on the characteristics and strengths of the race from which they evolved. For example, the Wood-Elf Archer benefits from the dexterity of his race, while the Barbarian Archer benefits from the strength of that race. The latter race, however, is unsuitable for classes that need to deal with complex magic for example, because their intelligence has suffered from the amount of time spent on melee training. To master magic with perfection, one would choose a High-Elf or Wood-Elf.

Additionally, clerics can help maneuver their party members through use of the Visit, Invite, and Party Recall spells. |

WizardFavors ranged combat • High damage • Curse magic
The wizard is by far the class with the most damage output in the game and is therefore destined to take over the damage role of a raid or party in most situations. Using its slowing skills ( Wad and Freezing Crystal), a wizard is capable of doing a support job which would relieve the tank or raid member from taking damage from slowed targets that cannot follow up. This, however, only works if the enemy is weak enough to not evade the slowing effects and preferably has no ranged attacks. The skill Invisibility can also help to make an ambush successful when used clever. High-Elf • Wood-Elf • Intelligence (INT) • Staff • Wands • Robes |
Trivia
